Working in the tech team, you will work alongside multiple teams such as Operations, Merchandising, eCommerce, Finance and CX to deliver key projects. The projects will include ERP implementation, PIM Onboarding, WMS, Integration, eCommerce and other cross functional initiatives. You will be self-motivated, capable of working with limited supervision, great at building relationships with stakeholders, pro-actively reporting on status and tasks and driving change. You will be confident in managing large scale change programmes at pace.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst and project teams to define the scope and create the business case / benefits.
- Manage partner selection processes.
- Escalate and update the project’s direction & scope based on urgency.
- Develop project budget in conjunction with partners and control this throughout.
- Develop and implement appropriate project management methodologies within the team.
- Develop high quality and robust project plans.
- Define and implement good project management practices.
- Help foster an agile and responsive culture.
- Compile and maintain good quality documentation.
- Commercially astute with previous significant capex and opex management experience.
- Manage senior stakeholders within Oh Polly and 3rd party suppliers.
Skills and Requirements
- Experience working as a Programme Manager, Project Manager or Project Lead on technical projects involving internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers, ideally in a retail environment.
- Good understanding of data within a retailer, multi party set up is a must.
- Experience of PIM, WMS, ERP or eCommerce Projects would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of operations and project management processes is key.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality projects that solve real business problems.
- Experience of delivering projects across multiple retail departments.
- Ability to manage multiple streams of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong influencing skills with an ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Adaptable, the role requires a willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, whether that be testing, support, operations, and documentation.
- Capable of working to both tactical and strategic timescales, prioritising effectively.
- Consistently seeks to raise standards through experimentation and the adoption of new tools and processes.
