Overview

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly motivated individual to join the Retail Marketing team for Europe, overseeing the Ralph Lauren retail marketing strategy across all EU Retail doors and the overarching marketing strategy Germany and Scandinavia.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Retail marketing strategy across Europe (particularly Germany & Nordics).
  • Engage cross-functionally and create relationships with all key stakeholders (Sales, Buying, Planning, CRM, Customer Insights, PR, Media, Brand Presentation, Clienteling, Regional Store teams, etc.) to implement the team’s strategy on a European or local level.
  • Drive the amplification of global brand campaigns across EU through direct marketing, in-store activations and events, and innovative experiences to attract new Millennial & Gen-Z customers to our stores.
  • Successfully develop and implement the opening strategy for new store openings within the region including researching market and consumer insights, competitor insights and key opportunities for ‘buzz generating’ activations.
  • Keep track of costs and manage budget daily, demonstrating the ability to report on spend per project. Raise POs and manage vendor relations.

Qualifications

  • Min 2 full strategic performance cycles of communications and events experience gained in international consumer goods organizations, preferably with some exposure to Premium brands or Fashion/Luxury Retail.
  • Strong marketing credentials including strategic analysis, project management, and communications, with experience in brand amplification.
  • Experience in large-scale event management (including retail activations) and marketing campaign strategy from initial concept and strategic planning to day-to-day execution and post-campaign reporting with both internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative and deliver quick results.
  • Strong business and commercial mindset, knowledge of marketing KPI analytics and experience managing a project budget and expense tracking.
  • Contribute creatively, develop innovative ideas and solutions with a structured approach and an exemplary eye for detail.
  • Dealing with ambiguity, fast paced environments and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable and confident in the briefing and feedback process of creative agencies and vendors.
  • Strong team player, collaborative, positive, pro-active with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills with experience producing content for presentations, mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
  • Fluent in English, additional languages a bonus, particularly German.
