As our Retail People Partner, you’ll be a trusted partner to a wide range of stakeholders responsible for helping drive the Global People Plan, aligned with Reiss’ purpose and vision which supports our continued growth and success as a brand. You’ll be a key contributor in ensuring Reiss is a great place to work; supporting our Retail leaders in driving performance, retention, recognition & reward, progression and development, through creating a truly engaging workplace where employees feel included, trusted and valued.
Working alongside our Talent, Learning & Development, Retail and US People teams, you will demonstrate exceptional communication and team collaboration. You’ll execute the Reiss People Plan for your areas of responsibility, coaching and influencing leaders to drive a high-performance culture at Reiss. Naturally curious and intuitive with relentless ambition, you’ll work with the People team to continue to elevate the employee experience at Reiss, inspiring your stakeholders and their teams to deliver excellence with a ‘continuous improvement’ mindset.
Who you are
- An ambitious People Partner with experience in a Head Office or Retail environment.
- A real change-maker and action-driver, comfortable with driving continuous improvements with stakeholders.
- Able to prioritise a demanding workload and pivot between strategic team project deliverables and ‘roll your sleeves up’ basics.
- A confident problem solver; able to influence stakeholders with natural intuition for balanced decision-making, commerciality and risk mitigation.
- Works with transparency and trust.
- Builds, develops, inspires and contributes to high performing teams – a true role model.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail, energised by working at pace.
- CIPD qualified is preferable, but not essential.
- A strong proficiency in using Microsoft programs and HRIS systems.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with a wide range of stakeholders to support in the delivery of our People Plan and advising on a broad range of ER queries.
- Be in the detail of your business area, providing regular reporting and keeping a continuous pulse on all people activities. This would include; leaver trends, recruitment activity, people development, ER issues, department objectives and current challenges.
- Ensure operational excellence of all cyclical people tasks, such as annual leave administration, Pay Review, Progression Grids upkeep and our Performance Review process.
- Review our policy library regularly, ensuring our policies and processes are fit for purpose and right for Reiss and stay ahead of our legal responsibilities.
- Contribute to and lead key projects to support our People Plan, with the aim of continuously improving the employee experience.
- Contribute to the delivery of our Key Activity Planner to help drive employee engagement activity and support in shaping our employee communications, including cultural celebrations.
- Coaching our People leaders and working with our Learning & Development team to create, deliver and evaluate training materials and tools to enable the success of our People leaders.
