White Stuff was established in 1985 through a simple idea. This idea grew and now we have shops and concessions in the UK and internationally, selling women’s and men’s clothing as well as beautiful accessories and homeware. Our original prints (all designed in house), intricate details and considered design touches reflect our personality and make us subtly distinctive. Our people are at the heart of our brand, constantly moving and driving us forward. We’re sociable, talented and like minded and we’re not hierarchical or political in how we do business. We encourage entrepreneurial ideas and accountability at all levels.

Who you are: You are an established BI Analyst with strong hands-on experience building and delivering reporting solutions in a commercial environment, preferably within the retail sector. You are detail-oriented and methodical, with a focus on producing accurate, reliable, and well-structured reporting outputs. You are comfortable working with a range of stakeholders and can translate business requirements into practical BI solutions. You are organised and self-sufficient, able to manage your own workload while contributing to wider team priorities. You thrive in a fast-paced, commercially driven business and are comfortable balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders. You take pride in clean, maintainable BI development and follow best practices in data modelling, report design, and governance.

Primary objective of the job: The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering high quality, scalable reporting solutions that support day-to-day decision making across the organisation. The focus of the role is on building, maintaining, and optimising dashboards and reports that provide consistent and reliable visibility of the business’ core KPIs. Working within a modern BI environment, the role will leverage Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to develop robust data models and reporting layers. The analyst will ensure reporting is accurate, performant, and aligned to business definitions, enabling teams across the organisation to access and use data effectively.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, and consistency.
  • Build and manage data models using best practices (including DAX), ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Translate business requirements into clearly defined reporting outputs, working closely with stakeholders across trading, marketing and operational teams.
  • Work closely with the Data Engineering team to test, validate, and onboard new data sources into the BI environment.
  • Enhance and optimise existing reports to improve performance, reduce complexity, and ensure alignment to business definitions.
  • Support the integration of data into Microsoft Fabric, contributing to the development of a modern, unified BI platform.
  • Investigate and resolve data and reporting issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business users.
  • Apply and uphold data governance standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and trust in all reporting outputs.
  • Create and maintain documentation for reports, data models, and processes to support ongoing use and development.

What you’ll need:

  • Solid experience in a Business Intelligence role, ideally within a retail, eCommerce, or consumer-focused business.
  • Strong technical expertise in Power BI, including report building, data modelling, and DAX; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data.
  • Experience working with data warehouses and structured data environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining production-grade BI reports and dashboards.
  • Good understanding of core retail metrics (e.g. sales, stock, margin, trading performance).
  • Ability to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
  • A structured and disciplined approach to BI development, with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.

What we will offer you:

  • Quarterly/Annual bonus opportunity
  • Up to 25 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays
  • 2 extra (paid!) days off per year to volunteer in the local community
  • 50% discount
  • Subsidised BUPA Dental Insurance
  • Healthcare cash plan and Life Assurance
  • Interest free season ticket loan
  • Pension Contribution
