As a member of the Finance Planning & Analyst (FP&A) team, the Finance Intern will support the accurate tracking and reporting of Marketing & Creative expenses across the EMEA Region, with the role being located in London, UK.
Working closely with Financial Analysts and various Marketing Stakeholders, the role will assist with the collection of supporting documentation and tracking of key month-end close activities (e.g. journals, reclassifications and intercompany rebills). The position will also support with the raising of accurate Purchase Orders on behalf of the Marketing & Creative Teams.
The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive and proactive individual, with the ability to build strong relationships across a range of stakeholders. This is an exciting entry-level role into FP&A, providing opportunities to gain exposure to broader Financial / FP&A processes and wider business partnering within a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
- Maintain the ‘Rebill Tracker’ with all known Team Reclassifications & Intercompany Rebills.
- Collect from Business Partners the correct support for Reclassifications & Rebills.
- Send monthly Marketing & Creative Rebills to the Intercompany Rebill team to meet monthly deadlines and ensure they are posted by that team into the Financial Accounts.
- Document all Marketing & Creative FP&A Month End journals on the ‘Journals Tracker’.
- Maintain correspondence with the Controllership Team to ensure that FP&A Teams journals have been posted into the SAP system.
- Support the Finance Analyst with raising Purchase Orders (PO’s) for the Marketing Teams.
- Support with ad-hoc analysis across the FP&A team.
Keen interest in a career in Finance & Accounting. Good academic background and record of achievement. Positive engagement and willingness to learn. Take pride in and complete work to a high standard with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
Mandatory: Experience in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
