The Platform Coordinator supports the delivery of Burberry’s Digital Employee Sale, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for employees. This role is responsible for day‑to‑day platform operations, including inventory support, content checks, SAP updates, and handling customer queries, with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency. Working closely with technology, fulfilment, and product teams, the Platform Coordinator helps streamline processes and maintain clear communication throughout the event cycle, while supporting commercial priorities through effective stock management and discount application.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership
- Support the team by embodying Burberry’s values and ways of working.
- Assist with day‑to‑day coordination of Digital and Physical Employee Sale operations.
- Identify and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain clear communication with technology, fulfilment, and product teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and support smooth operations.
- Provide operational support, reporting, and assist with customer queries in a professional, brand‑aligned manner.
- Drive for Results
- Support delivery of the Digital Employee Sale to maximise performance and inventory exit.
- Assist with sales, stock, and margin reporting, highlighting trends and insights.
- Support website merchandising, ensuring accuracy of pricing, imagery, and product details.
- Help coordinate campaigns, product flow, and stakeholder timelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Brand Protection
- Follow risk and brand protection processes, escalating concerns where needed.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data and online presentation.
- Support customer communications to ensure clarity and alignment with brand tone.
- Maintain compliance with Global Employee Sale guidelines across all activities.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Previous experience in luxury or retail environments is desirable.
- Proactive, self‑driven, and able to take initiative.
- Strong commercial awareness with effective problem‑solving skills.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office 365.
- Familiarity with Oracle POS, Shopify, Klaviyo, and Gorgias is advantageous.
