You will support Quality Assurance initiatives, managing the QA Assistant Tech. Work collaboratively with the Technical Manager, the wider Q&S team, Regional Offices, Suppliers and other key stakeholders to continuously improve and strive for the best outcomes, using key metrics to achieve and maintain Superdry quality standards.

Be accountable for all daily AQL inspection decisions, striking the right balance between maintaining Superdry’s best-in-class quality and commerciality. Mentor and upskill the Assistant QA Tech, using quality issues as teaching tools to increase their experience and commercial awareness across all product categories.

Oversee monthly reporting working collaboratively with the Technical Manager, including Supplier Quality Performance Reports, AQL Debits and other reports required to progress and deliver on key department strategy. Manage and analyse returns data, issuing meaningful reports as needed, and highlighting any risk to product quality or need for further action to wider stakeholders.

Inform key stakeholders of post-shipment quality, performance or fit issues, sharing a clear picture of the history, solutions and options, and working with wider stakeholders to meet and maintain standards. Arrange and/or carry out DC inspections, setting the inspection parameters, and reviewing the outcomes in line with company requirements.

Research and provide 3rd party re-processing options to the business for any shipped goods requiring improvement, liaising with the business stakeholders and re-processors to ensure swift resolutions.

You are:

  • University educated with a related degree and/or extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Experienced in visiting garment factories globally.
  • Able to think and operate strategically and make well-founded, commercial decisions.
  • Able to communicate and present effectively, including to senior stakeholders.
  • Able to train and inspire others in managing and improving Superdry quality.
  • Confident working on PLM and Microsoft 365 applications (including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of PowerBI is an advantage.
  • Able to work effectively at pace, embracing change in a busy environment, coping effectively with a high demand in terms of output.
  • Diligent, with an excellent attention to detail, and also enthusiastic and determined with a positive attitude.
