We’re looking for a proactive, people‑focused Facilities Manager who loves keeping things running smoothly and takes pride in creating a premium shopping experience. If you thrive on variety and enjoy being at the heart of a busy retail destination, this role will suit you perfectly.
What You’ll Do
- Reporting to the Centre General Manager, you’ll lead daily facilities operations by ensuring the centre stays safe, clean and efficient, resolving issues quickly with a customer‑first mindset.
- You’ll manage budgets wisely, keeping service charge spend on track and delivering great value for our brand partners.
- You’ll also deliver CAPEX projects from planning through to completion, making sure everything is on time, on spec and within budget.
- You will oversee key contracts such as cleaning, security and landscaping, maintaining consistently high standards across the centre.
- You’ll champion safety and risk by supporting fire training, drills, first‑aid coordination and regulatory compliance.
- You’ll build strong tenant relationships to ensure smooth store openings, exits and refurbishments.
- You’ll also drive sustainability through utility management and environmental initiatives, and you’ll take part in the duty management rota, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property or facilities management within a customer‑facing environment — retail or hospitality preferred.
- Relevant legislative knowledge and qualifications, including health & safety, fire safety and security.
- Strong understanding of risk management, security procedures and environmental/sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with budgets and numbers.
- Solid MS Office capability (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
