This is a great role for a very trend-led assistant designer, looking to step into a junior role, where you will support in designing across denim and casual wovens ranges.
Based in a super studio and with the stability of a solid set up, you will be working closely with the head of department and senior designer on showroom ranges and also have the ability to design into customer high fashion accounts.
Day to day you will be:
- Researching the market and carrying out careful analysis to have a strong understanding of the most up to date trends;
- Being aware of innovation across fabric/washes/shape with on the job training provided;
- Creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs in response to briefs;
- Producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development;
- Communicating effectively with team members in the UK and Asia;
- Overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met.
