A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a product development assistant to join a British furniture and lighting brand. The brand creates contemporary designs which are classic, yet creative and showcase own-branded and products from innovative designers.
By having exceptional trend forecasting skills, the product development admin assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the buyers in creating exceptional ranges from design to final product. You will be responsible for managing product design and negotiation, analysing and reviewing sales. You will manage orders, ensure critical path is adhered to, approve samples and packaging, whilst also overseeing all necessary admin.
The ideal candidate will have a diverse set of skills, from having excellent attention to detail when considering the quality of product, being trend aware and keeping updated on industry developments, to being analytical to ensure margins are met and sale prices are competitive. You will have strong excel, problem-solving and communications skills.
In return, the company offers a salary of £35,000 and the opportunity to work with an iconic brand.
