An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Product Designer to join a fast-paced, design-led business supplying trend-driven products to leading global retailers and brands. This is a role for someone who thrives on innovation, loves spotting what's next and gets genuine satisfaction from turning ideas into commercially successful product.
Working across a diverse portfolio, you'll be responsible for driving product development from concept through to customer presentation, collaborating closely with sales, sourcing, technical and development teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the design and development of commercial fashion product ranges
- Researching and presenting seasonal trends, product concepts and innovation opportunities
- Creating inspiring customer presentations and supporting key client meetings
- Managing development critical paths and overseeing sampling activities
- Working closely with sourcing and product development teams to identify new product opportunities
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the design team
- Building strong relationships across design, sales, technical and sourcing functions
- Championing assigned brands and ensuring products meet both commercial and creative objectives
About you:
You'll be a commercially minded designer with strong product development experience and a passion for creating exciting customer-focused collections.
You will bring:
- Strong experience within product design or product development (ideally hosiery experience)
- Excellent trend awareness and commercial understanding
- Experience leading projects from concept through to production
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- The confidence to work with multiple stakeholders and customers
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members would be highly beneficial
