Based in London, the role sits within the supply chain and distribution team, supporting the smooth movement of products from international suppliers through to warehouses and ultimately to customers. The position offers exposure to a broad range of logistics and supply chain activities within a dynamic retail environment.
The successful candidate will support the head of supply chain and distribution in coordinating import and distribution operations, acting as a key point of contact for internal teams, suppliers and freight forwarders. Responsibilities include:
- Managing import shipments
- Obtaining freight quotations
- Monitoring deliveries
- Maintaining shipment tracking
- Ensuring customs compliance
- Resolving delivery issues
- Supporting store openings and closures
- Processing stock adjustments
- Handling carrier claims
- Helping to ensure products move efficiently through the supply chain
To succeed in this role, candidates should have 2–3 years' experience within logistics or supply chain, ideally working with freight forwarders, along with a good understanding of HMRC import and export customs procedures.
