We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Ecommerce Trading Manager to lead the end-to-end digital customer journey for a major footwear brand, operating at significant ecommerce scale.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the ecommerce trading and sales performance, owning and delivering online sales targets across all digital channels, apps, and digital concessions.
  • Lead the overall ecommerce trading strategy to drive profitable growth, including forecasting, reforecasting, and trading plans, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee promotional activity, trade terms, onsite campaigns, and peak trading events.
  • Work closely with buying, merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to align stock, messaging, and execution.
  • Optimise the onsite customer experience, merchandising, UX, and conversion performance.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in ecommerce or online trading within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven experience managing onsite trading performance across multiple digital channels.
  • Strong people management and team leadership experience.
  • Exceptional commercial awareness with strong forecasting and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of UX/CX and their impact on conversion and revenue.
  • Advanced Excel skills, Google Analytics, VM tools, basic HTML knowledge.
  • Experience with tools/platforms such as Fredhopper / Attraqt, ContentSquare, SAP, Hybris, Shopify.
