A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a merchandiser or senior merchandiser to join a desirable brand which is best described as trendy, affordable, feminine, romantic, and easy-to-wear. They are known for floral prints, dresses, soft silhouettes and designed to be versatile. This role will cover denim, outerwear and tailoring.
Responsibilities
- The merchandiser/senior merchandiser will be responsible for driving sales, profit, and stock efficiency across fashion categories through strategic planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
- The role will work closely with buying, design, ecommerce, and supply chain teams to ensure the right product assortment is available.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence business decisions.
- Experience working with volume and in a fast-paced environment is required.
- The candidate must be commercially minded to manage sales, margin, and stock performance, analyse daily and weekly sales to identify risks and opportunities, and drive actions to maximise profitability and sell-through.
- Expertise in planning and forecasting is needed to develop seasonal sales and stock plans, build accurate forecasts using historical data, manage OTB budgets, and partner with the buying team to build commercially balanced ranges.
- Excellent management skills and experience managing a team are also required.
In return, the company offers a generous salary, depending on level whether merchandiser or senior merchandiser, from £50,000 - £70,000. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from the office three days a week and two from home.
