A new opportunity has arisen for a Junior Garment Technologist specialising in jersey to join a leading fashion retailer on a temporary basis, with the potential of a permanent contract. The company is a well-established womenswear retailer with a strong presence across the UK.
You will be responsible for managing the technical development of jersey products from first fit through to production, ensuring the highest standards of quality, fit and compliance while working closely with design, buying, merchandising and suppliers.
The successful candidate will have previous garment technology experience within a fashion retailer or supplier, a strong understanding of fit, fabrics, grading and product testing, be available to start immediately on an ongoing basis and have the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
As a temp, you will receive a competitive hourly rate that is paid on a weekly basis, as well as paid holiday and the opportunity to join a pension scheme.
