This is an opportunity for a junior trend lead bag / footwear designer to join a leading private label business, operating globally. Working closely with the design manager, you will be responsible for supporting with the design and execution of bags and footwear ranges for a leading UK high street retailer.
Day to day you will be:
- Researching the market via shopping trips
- Creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs for the showroom and in response to briefs
- Producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development
- Attending buyer meetings
- Communicating effectively with sourcing teams globally
- Overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met
The role will suit a passionate, creative and proactive accessories and/or footwear design specialist with a sound knowledge of processes.
