Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees across retail, warehouse and head office functions.
  • Provide practical HR support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage HR administration and systems.
  • Support payroll processes.
  • Advise on employee relations matters.
  • Assist with recruitment activities.
  • Contribute to HR projects, policy development and people-focused initiatives.
  • Help turn people data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Previous HR experience within a retail or fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and HR best practice.
  • Organised, proactive and approachable professional with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using HR systems.
  • Confidence working with data and reporting.
  • Ability to balance commercial realities with people-focused solutions.
  • CIPD qualification desirable, although practical HR experience is equally valued.
