As we embark on an exciting phase of growth, we’re looking for an experienced merchandiser to join the team and play a key role in driving commercial performance.
The Role: Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll be responsible for delivering the sales, margin, and inventory targets of your department through strong planning, trading, and category management. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with real influence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned sales and profitability through effective category planning and in-season trading
- Analyse weekly and monthly performance to identify and maximise commercial opportunities
- Manage OTB, intake, and inventory to achieve department and brand stock targets
- Own category performance within quarterly buys, including forecasting, product selection, and buy planning
- Present performance insights and buy recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Conduct size and market trend analysis to inform trading decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regional, supply, pricing, and innovation teams
- Drive continuous improvement of merchandising systems and processes
- Lead, manage, and develop junior merchandising team members
About You
- Proven experience as a merchandiser or junior merchandiser within fashion retail, with a strong commercial track record
- Highly analytical with advanced Excel and strong retail maths (sales, margin, sell-through, stock turn)
- Confident managing OTB, forecasting, and buy planning in a dynamic environment
- Commercially sharp with a strong understanding of market trends and customer behaviour
- A natural leader who develops and motivates teams
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Organised, resilient, and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced retail business
