We’re working with a client who is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their retail head office immediately and provide hands-on support across a busy ER caseload. This is a hit-the-ground-running role – ideal for someone confident picking up live cases with minimal handover and adding value from day one.

The Role:

  • Managing a varied ER caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, performance, and investigations
  • Providing pragmatic, commercially focused ER advice to line managers
  • Supporting managers through complex and sensitive cases
  • Ensuring cases are managed in line with employment law and internal policies
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date case notes

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a hands-on ER / HR Advisor role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident managing cases independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to start immediately or at very short notice
  • Calm, professional, and resilient in a fast-paced environment
