We’re working with a client who is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their retail head office immediately and provide hands-on support across a busy ER caseload. This is a hit-the-ground-running role – ideal for someone confident picking up live cases with minimal handover and adding value from day one.
The Role:
- Managing a varied ER caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, performance, and investigations
- Providing pragmatic, commercially focused ER advice to line managers
- Supporting managers through complex and sensitive cases
- Ensuring cases are managed in line with employment law and internal policies
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date case notes
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in a hands-on ER / HR Advisor role
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident managing cases independently with minimal supervision
- Able to start immediately or at very short notice
- Calm, professional, and resilient in a fast-paced environment
