Temporary Customer Service (Retail Head Office) – Agency Role
Location: South East London (Four days based in the office one from home)
Duration: 26th of May start – End of August (No notice period or pre-booked holidays permitted)
Pay: Hourly rate, paid weekly via PAYE (agency payroll)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, shifts between 7:30am – 9:30pm on rotation
We are recruiting on behalf of a luxury retailer for customer care consultants to support peak trading across the summer period. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, fashion-focused environment, delivering exceptional service to a high-end international customer base. This role will be four days a week in South East London with one day from home. There will also be weekend shifts scheduled in, once every three weeks.
The Role
- Deliver a premium customer experience while supporting order processing, returns, and sales through multiple communication channels.
- Act as a brand ambassador, combining customer service excellence with commercial awareness.
- Process outbound orders and customer returns accurately.
- Deliver outstanding customer service across all interactions using various software.
- Build strong product knowledge to confidently advise customers on purchases.
- Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell products to meet performance targets.
- Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs (quality, productivity, and sales).
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer queries efficiently.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact order delivery.
- Manage and categorise customer queries using internal systems.
- Escalate complex issues or complaints when required.
- Effectively prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven customer service experience, ideally within retail or e-commerce.
- Strong interest in fashion and luxury brands.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proactive problem-solving ability with a “can-do” attitude.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confident working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Good IT and analytical skills.
- Flexible approach to work, including potential travel for training.
- Team-oriented with a strong individual work ethic.
- Self-motivated and confident in a customer-facing role.

- You must be available to start on May the 26th and commit through to the end of August.
- No notice period or pre-booked holidays during the assignment.
