About Us: My client are a globally recognised luxury retailer known for its commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, timeless design, and outstanding customer experience. With a strong digital presence and a loyal international customer base, they pride themselves on delivering luxury at every touchpoint – both in-store and online. They are currently seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Temporary E-Retail Assistant to support the digital team during a peak trading period. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in luxury e-commerce within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day management of the e-commerce site, ensuring products are accurately listed with correct imagery, pricing, and descriptions.
- Assist in online order processing, liaising with logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and update stock levels to prevent overselling or discrepancies across systems.
- Conduct regular website QA to ensure optimal user experience across desktop and mobile.
- Upload content for new product launches, campaigns, and promotions in line with brand guidelines.
- Provide administrative support for digital marketing activities, including email campaigns and site banners.
- Report on key site metrics, flagging any anomalies or areas for improvement.
- Support the e-commerce and wider digital team with ad hoc tasks during busy periods.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail environment, ideally within luxury retail.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using CMS and product management tools (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud – a plus) and Adobe.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to create effective presentations and reports.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
- Knowledge in using Premier Pro and retail media platforms like Criteo / Citrus would be a bonus.
