We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Assistant Buyer to join a dynamic buying team at one of the world’s leading fashion brands. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a global business, supporting the buying function through a key seasonal period.

This role is London-based and requires an immediate start for a 6-month temporary contract, ideal for someone with previous buying or merchandising admin experience looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Buyer and wider team in the end-to-end buying process
• Raise and manage purchase orders and ensure accurate data entry
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to track product deliveries and resolve issues
• Analyse sales data and market trends to help inform buying decisions
• Assist in sample management, product selection, and range planning
• Coordinate with merchandising, design, and logistics teams
• Attend fit sessions and support with product sign-off and approvals

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year experience in a buying, merchandising, or retail head office environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident in working with data and Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
• Commercial mindset and genuine interest in fashion trends
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
