Overview
This globally recognized retail client operates over 300 locations across the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a Payroll Co-ordinator to join them on a full-time permanent basis, 5 days a week, Hybrid to include 3 days in the office in Chelmsford and 2 from home. You will report to the Payroll Manager and work closely with the Payroll assistant.
Responsibilities
- Support payroll processing and assist the Payroll Manager and Payroll Assistant as required.
- Prepare year-end returns.
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and maintain accurate records.
- Utilise payroll/HRIS systems and maintain data integrity.
- Assist with ongoing accuracy, deadlines, and workload prioritisation.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in a UK Payroll position.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
- Experience with payroll/HRIS systems.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills; strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general Office tools.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Previous experience in preparing year-end returns.
