The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Working for a successful manufacturer to the high street and supermarkets of lifestyle products including slippers, nightwear and lounge wear. You will be responsible for designing commercially successful slipper ranges for customers, identifying trends and managing the full design process from concept to approval.

  • Design seasonal slipper collections for multiple customers across UK high street retailers and supermarkets.
  • Identify, create and present trend mood boards, colour palettes and fabric direction for the season with a strong understanding of consumer behaviours, competitor market research and commercial awareness.
  • Strong CAD rendering skills as well as the ability to hand sketch.
  • Produce clear technical drawings and product specifications.
  • Work closely with Design Manager, product development and sourcing teams, Account managers and wider design team.
  • Attend and contribute to regular meetings with customers in our office and their Head Offices to present concepts and ranges.
  • Develop designs based on customer feedback.
  • Manage multiple customer accounts and deadlines, ensuring designs meet target prices and commercial requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and internal UK and China teams.
  • Must be willing to travel in the UK and overseas to attend meetings with customers and suppliers, source fabrics, conduct market research and attend trade fairs and exhibitions.
  • You will be based in our Milton Keynes office 3 days a week, 2 from home. Commutable from London Euston in 30-40 minutes.
