We are recruiting for an Online Trading Assistant to join a well-established fashion and lifestyle retailer on a temporary basis, supporting the e-commerce team during a busy trading period.
Candidates must be immediately available and not on a notice period to be considered.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent Excel knowledge and an interest in e-commerce, online merchandising or retail trading.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the online trading team with daily administrative tasks and data entry.
- Preparing daily and weekly sales and performance reports.
- Using Excel to analyse data, identify trends and support trading decisions.
- Assisting with promotional activity, markdowns and product performance analysis.
- Monitoring slow-selling products and supporting online merchandising updates.
- Liaising with buying, marketing and other internal teams on trading activities.
About you:
- Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Excel to input, manage and interpret data.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising or e-commerce would be advantageous.
- An interest in AI tools and their use in the workplace would be a bonus.
