Menswear Designer | Nottingham | Fixed-Term Contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Menswear Designer to join a well-established heritage fashion brand.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the design team, taking ownership of the menswear product area from initial trend research and concept development through to technical design and production.
The Role
- Develop commercial, trend-led menswear collections that reflect current trends and customer needs.
- Create detailed technical CADs and product specifications.
- Work closely with overseas suppliers on samples, costings and product development.
- Attend fit sessions and sample review meetings, ensuring products meet design and quality expectations.
- Contribute to other product categories when required.
- Collaborate with the wider team to support the successful delivery of seasonal collections.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-4 years' fashion design experience, ideally within menswear.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
- A good understanding of fabrics, garment construction and product development.
- Experience working across multiple product categories.
- A commercial eye, strong attention to detail and a confident, collaborative approach.
The Package
- Location: Nottingham
- Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
- Contract: Fixed-term, 4-6 months
- Start date: Immediate start preferred
