Senior Womenswear Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Womenswear Designer to join a growing luxury womenswear brand during an exciting period of expansion.

Working closely with the Creative Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing seasonal collections from concept through to production, helping to shape the brand's creative vision while supporting its continued growth.

This role is suited to a highly creative, commercially aware designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing multiple projects while delivering to critical path deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Creative Director to develop seasonal concepts, silhouettes, fabrics, colour palettes and prints.
  • Design across multiple product categories, including woven, jersey, knitwear and leather.
  • Lead the development of capsule collections, collaborations, exclusives and bridal projects.
  • Manage the full design process from research and sketching through to sampling, fittings and production handover.
  • Produce detailed CADs and accurate tech packs for factories and production teams.
  • Liaise with suppliers and factories throughout product development, ensuring samples and approvals are delivered on time.
  • Oversee print, embroidery and embellishment development.
  • Attend fittings and collaborate closely with Product, Production and Sales teams to ensure collections meet both creative and commercial objectives.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to maintaining an organised, collaborative studio environment.
  • About the Candidate
  • At least five years' experience in luxury or premium womenswear design.
  • Experience designing across multiple product categories.
  • Strong commercial awareness alongside excellent creative and technical ability.
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and product development.
  • Advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and project management skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
