Role Overview Finfin Play I Fashion League is looking for an experienced Associate Producer to drive the production and project workflows of our mobile game and play a pivotal role in ensuring our team’s success. This role is critical to our small, agile studio, requiring someone who can wear multiple hats and bring strategic oversight to every aspect of our production pipeline. The right candidate will work closely with directors, internal teams, and external experts to deliver a game that excels in both player engagement and retention. Responsibilities: Strategic Roadmap Management: Own and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and retention goals. Break high-level initiatives into actionable tasks while ensuring milestones are met. Collaborate with directors to prioritize features and focus on delivering value efficiently. Production Oversight: Oversee production workflows, balancing creative, technical, and business priorities. Ensure efficient resource allocation and manage budgets effectively. Risk & Crisis Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the production lifecycle. Proactively escalate issues to directors when necessary and navigate the team toward solutions. Monitor production health, ensuring clarity of goals and focus across teams. Team Leadership: Serve as a bridge between teams and leadership, facilitating communication and passing feedback both ways. Organize and lead meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews, ensuring team alignment and productivity. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and solutions-oriented environment. Retention-Focused Collaboration: Work closely with our external retention specialist to gather, analyze, and make key retention metrics visible to the team. Ensure that retention metrics are central to production decisions and roadmap planning. Documentation & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including production schedules, progress reports, and retrospective analyses. Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and resource requirements. Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years in a production or project management role within the gaming industry, preferably in mobile game development. Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams (art, design, engineering, QA). Skilled in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar platforms). Proficiency in documentation and reporting tools, production schedules, and milestone tracking systems. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical, creative, and management teams. Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating production risks. Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Team-oriented, with a focus on mentorship and collaboration to foster a positive working environment.
