We are looking for an ambitious Apprentice Electrical Engineer to join our design team. This position offers hands‑on experience while working towards a recognised engineering qualification. The apprentice will support engineers in delivering innovative solutions across a variety of projects, from commercial developments and infrastructure schemes to sustainable buildings.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting electrical engineers with design and analysis work
- Assisting in the preparation of drawings, calculations, and technical reports
- Learning to use industry‑standard engineering software and design tools
- Supporting project teams in delivering projects from concept to completion
- Attending site visits to gain practical insight into construction processes
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions
Requirements
- Recently completed (or working towards) A‑Levels, BTEC, or equivalent in Engineering, Maths or a related subject.
- Able to qualify for the government apprenticeship criteria.
- Strong interest in Electrical Engineering and the built environment.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop new technical skills.
