Digital Design Technician (ICT) Responsibilities

  • Work within the ICT discipline under the direct supervision of an Engineer, Designer, or other technical professional.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of the ICT discipline model in collaboration with Digital Design, Engineering, and Project teams.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of ICT systems, model content, families, and overall digital delivery outputs for the discipline.
  • Accurately model ICT BIM elements (e.g. pathways, cabinets, devices, and network components) within the defined constraints of the modeling environment using current 3D design software.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, schematics, and diagrams for ICT systems using Revit.
  • Maintain the ICT discipline model, including project data, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match lines, views, and sheets.
  • Produce discipline-specific ICT documentation with accurate annotations and coordination across all modeling outputs.

Required Qualifications

  • Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential.
  • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
