Inspired by Danish fashion? We’re hiring an in-house Brand Sales Manager to develop the UK wholesale market for a premium Danish womenswear brand that is thriving across Europe and now looking to expand its footprint in the UK. The focus of the role is to set and achieve seasonal sales targets while developing wholesale and online business in line with the brand’s values and market positioning. You will lead sales meetings at trade shows, digitally and on the road, spending time with existing partners while identifying and onboarding new accounts.
Designed with intention, the brand blends refined Scandinavian minimalism with a confident, feminine perspective, creating directional fashion collections that feel effortless and modern. Five seasonal collections sit alongside a curated never out of stock range, balancing seasonal storytelling with continuity in essential styles. Marketing and communication are expressed through a cohesive visual narrative, brought to life through curated content, collaborations and a comprehensive media bank that equips retail partners with campaign imagery, product assets and up to date brand materials to ensure consistent presentation across all channels.
Specialising in premium or contemporary womenswear, we are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager ready to take the next step or an established Wholesale Sales Manager seeking a new challenge. You will be currently living and working in the UK, with a full clean driving licence and at least five years of experience. A strong and current network of UK independent stores, marketplaces and department stores is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- In collaboration with the UK Country Manager and European Sales Director, define the strategy for the UK market based on wholesale expertise, research, current business and future potential.
- Set pricing for the collections with the UK team.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with independent boutiques, online marketplaces and department stores.
- Develop and strengthen existing wholesale distribution.
- Present seasonal collections to customers in the London showroom and on the road, tailoring each appointment to the store’s positioning and potential.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through a clear understanding of each customer’s needs.
- Support retail partners with in store events, product training and brand activations.
- Represent the brand at UK trade fairs.
- Track weekly sales performance, responding to opportunities to maximise sell through and replenishment.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the main point of contact for inventory, performance monitoring and requests.
- Work closely with the head office team in Copenhagen to ensure smooth coordination across sales operations, logistics and customer service.
Reporting & Market Insight
- Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports analysing account performance and market trends.
- Hold regular review meetings with the UK Country Manager to discuss product performance and market opportunities.
- Share market feedback with the Copenhagen head office team to support future product development and commercial planning.
Essential Experience
- Wholesale Sales Manager or Key Account Manager with a minimum of five years’ experience specialising in directional premium or contemporary womenswear.
- An established network of premium boutiques, department stores and marketplace partners, with the credibility and relationships to develop long-term business.
- Strong ability to present collections and interpret product stories, translating them into assortments that resonate with each store and its customer.
- Combines commercial instinct with a thoughtful, relationship led approach, building trusted partnerships while consistently driving sales growth.
- Comfortable working independently in a field based role, balancing time in the showroom and on the road with planning, reporting and account development.
- Strong organisational discipline and commercial awareness, using market insight and sales data to guide decisions and continuously strengthen performance.
- Currently living and working in the UK with full working rights, sponsorship is not available.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary in line with experience plus bi-annual commission after six months of service.
- Company car, mobile and iPad provided with full software training.
- 30 days annual leave.
- Clothing allowance.
- Pension scheme.
