An established fashion brand based in Manchester City Centre are looking for a Womenswear Designer to join their growing design team. They are focused on sports fashion/activewear/athleisure and are looking for a designer with a similar handwriting to join their growing team.

The Brand

They are a small but growing brand based in Manchester & they are looking for a womenswear streetwear to join their team. You will be working with a team of other designers in a close-knit, lovely team also working with Buying to planning new ranges and also look at product selection.

The Role

  • Create detailed CADs and tech-packs for team and supplier use
  • Create and regularly update linesheets per collection
  • Carry out fit sessions on new development and make comments/adjustments accordingly
  • Pattern cutting and photo-type sample creation when necessary
  • Liaise with Suppliers and Manufacturers to implement design adjustments and sizing amendments
  • Create trend boards and provide trend forecasts for the wider creative team

About You

  • Experience working in design preferably within womenswear athleisure or sportswear
  • Experience in multi-product categories and graphic skills is ideal for the role
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong proficiency in in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Excel, and Microsoft Office
  • Team player
