We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team as a Senior Designer. We are offering this position on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based in Wimborne, Dorset, working on a hybrid basis 2 days per week in office typically Monday and Wednesday.

Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients. The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 80 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists. The key to our success is the people behind the paint: from the team handcrafting each tin to showroom staff to support functions, our shared passion ensures customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us.

As a Senior Designer within the Creative Team, you will support the studio in delivering high quality creative work across 3D point of sale, third party sales tools and web based outputs. Using industry standard creative software, you will be responsible for representing the Farrow & Ball brand through both printed and digital artwork. Reporting into the Creative Services Manager, you will play a key role in bringing the Farrow & Ball brand to life across physical and digital touchpoints.

This role is responsible for creating visually compelling design solutions that enhance brand awareness, desirability and consistency across 3D trade stands, point of sale materials, third party sales tools and wider marketing collateral. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will translate creative concepts into production ready assets, ensuring design intent is delivered to the highest standard. Acting as a strong brand guardian, you will ensure all outputs reflect Farrow & Ball’s distinctive aesthetic, craftsmanship and attention to detail, contributing to a cohesive and elevated brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deliver high quality, print ready and production ready artwork across a range of channels, including 3D trade stands, point of sale, retail environments, packaging, brochures, leaflets, postcards and digital outputs, ensuring design intent is upheld from concept through to go live, installation or manufacture.
  • Support the design and development of 3D POS and spatial solutions, working from initial concept and visualisation through to final artwork, file preparation and supplier handover.
  • Create and adapt press advertisements and advertorials to agreed specifications, ensuring accuracy, consistency and a premium level of execution.
  • Confidently use SketchUp, V Ray and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) to produce and refine artwork, retouch imagery and prepare assets to the highest technical and aesthetic standards. Experience with Premiere Pro is desirable.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider Creative Team and Marketing stakeholders to develop and deliver digital and web assets, ensuring consistency across physical and digital touchpoints.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all creative output meets Farrow & Ball’s premium standards and adheres strictly to brand guidelines, with particular focus on consistency, legibility and considered graphic treatment.
  • Contribute to the creation of digital assets such as animated content, GIFs and light video editing where required, ensuring all outputs align with the wider brand experience.

Key Attributes:

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, with the ability to produce high quality, production ready artwork across print, digital and physical environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of SketchUp and V Ray with experience visualising and developing 3D concepts for point of sale, trade stands or spatial environments.
  • Proven ability to accurately interpret creative briefs and translate them into considered, on brand design solutions, while confidently refining and questioning where appropriate.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a clear understanding of how design decisions affect quality, legibility and overall brand perception.
  • A genuine drive for excellence, taking pride in craftsmanship, finish and delivering work to a consistently high standard.
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced studio environment.
  • Comfortable working at pace while maintaining accuracy, consistency and calm under pressure.
  • Conscientious and accountable, taking personal ownership of work from concept through to final delivery.
  • Curious and keen to learn, with a strong desire to develop technical skills, creative thinking and understanding of materials, production processes and emerging tools.
