We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Procurement team in Wimborne as a Procurement Co-ordinator. We are offering this position on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be working on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week minimum at our head office in Wimborne.
As the Procurement Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the wider Procurement Team and Farrow & Ball Project with administrative and analytical tasks in line with team objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Updating Daily Resin Tracker, Marketing Tracker and Out of Stock Reports.
- Monthly updates of various trackers to support the department buyers with orders.
- Ordering of miscellaneous items for the factories and Warehouse, including Secondary Packaging, Stationary, Uniform, Effluent and more.
- Supporting the buyers in their QBR’s with Label and Secondary Packaging Suppliers.
- Coordinating the Daily Call Offs from Offsite storage and reviewing stock held in storage.
- Coordinate the set up and ongoing maintenance of ERP part numbers.
- Ensuring levels of Memos are maintained and ordered in a timely way.
- Support the monthly and December year end Uddens Stock Take process, including the coordination of all counts on and off site (external storage).
- Supporting Hempel and F&B projects with analysis, administration, including updating and maintaining of department reporting.
- Assisting with the processing of the imports process for raw materials from the EU.
- Provide sickness/holiday cover for other areas of the team.
- Manage workflow of the Planning & Procurement department email inbox.
- Ensuring administration tasks are carried out to support strategic activities.
- Drive the uses and development of MRP within the ERP system.
- Updating department process using ClickLearn as procedures developed and changed.
- Maintain a focus on training and development in the ERP system for the Planning & Procurement team including Click Learn and BI.
- Be the co-ordination point for Continuous Improvement within the team from process documentation, testing and go live support as well as tracking of improvement benefits i.e. cost, capacity, process improvement.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability in administration and purchasing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, team player.
- Ability to build professional relationships internally and externally through good communication skills.
- Data literacy - strong numerical reasoning.
- MS Office competency, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or IFS is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience of working in a busy department and being able to multi-task.
- Some previous experience or exposure to a supply chain or procurement environment.
- Understanding of a manufacturing Environment or Warehousing/Storage would be advantageous however not essential.
