We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Communications team in Wimborne. We are offering this position as a sandwich year placement opportunity to students who are currently studying media or communications at university level. This is a full‑time placement based at our head office in Wimborne, Dorset.

As the PR & Partnerships Assistant, you’ll support Farrow & Ball’s global PR, influencer, and brand partnership activity. Working closely with the PR Executive and the wider Communications team, you’ll gain experience across multiple markets, helping to deliver PR campaigns, influencer collaborations, and brand partnerships, while contributing to strong media coverage and high‑quality brand content. This is a great opportunity for someone in a placement year to gain hands‑on experience in PR, communications, influencer marketing, and partnerships, and to develop their skills within a fast‑paced global brand.
Key Responsibilities- Press Office & Media Relations
- Support the PR exec with the day‑to‑day running of the Farrow & Ball press office.
- Manage product call‑ins for shoots, editorial requests, and influencer activity where relevant.
- Coordinate image and asset requests from media and partners.
- Maintain and update international media databases and press lists.
- Monitor domestic and international press coverage daily and flag key placements to the wider team.
- Provide general press office administration and logistical support.
- Support coordination with Farrow & Ball’s network of international PR agencies.
- Compile campaign, event, and project recap reports.
- Track and collate coverage secured across campaigns, including influencer posts and estimated reach.
- Maintain records and reporting for influencer and partnership outputs.
- Monitor competitor activity and share relevant insights with the PR and Communications team.
- Organise press gifts and support the logistics of press and partnership events.
- Support the day‑to‑day management of Farrow & Ball’s international influencer and partnerships community.
- Assist with the coordination of influencer campaigns including product gifting, order management, timelines, and tracking.
- Manage the roster of gifted influencers and place product orders for the communications team.
- Help manage the content pipeline by ensuring assets are received, organised, rights‑tracked, and shared with internal teams across marketing, retail, and brand.
- Support the planning and execution of partnerships, launches, campaigns, and events in collaboration with internal teams across Marketing, Brand, Retail, and PR.
- Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail and grammar.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence working with external partners.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with international teams and stakeholders.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail when managing media lists, reporting, and content assets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with media monitoring or reporting tools.
