Farrow & Ball - Social Media Manager, Wimborne (40 hours per week)

We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our Communications team at our Head office in Wimborne, Dorset as a Social Media Manager. We are offering this position on a permanent, full-time basis working hybrid between our office (3 days per week) and home. Our team meets in the office to connect every Monday & Wednesday.

Farrow & Ball are a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients.

The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.

Reporting to our Global Communications Director, we are seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to focus on organic social media strategies to build and engage our audience across various platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a deep understanding of social media trends and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive organic social media strategy to increase brand awareness, audience size, and engagement. A focus on building and nurturing our social media community.
  • Curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content across all social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of organic social media efforts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, creative and e-commerce to ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and goals.
  • Analyse social media metrics and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including collaborations with influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Manage the organic social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and timely delivery of content.
  • Identify and engage with key influencers and brand advocates to create content and build meaningful relationships.
  • Manage the Community Management Assistant and support with engaging our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner.

Key Attributes

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent level of experience.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a focus on organic social media growth.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for interior design, home decor, and the Farrow & Ball brand.
