We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Retail Marketing team at our head office in Wimborne as a Retail Activation Lead. The position is a fixed‑term contract of 9 months, working on a hybrid basis, with two days in person at our head office in Wimborne, Dorset. Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists. Responsibilities
- Act as the expert on retail channels across the UK & EU within the marketing team, bringing insight to all marketing activation planning and initiative development.
- Communication:
- Work with the global brand team to ensure consistency in marketing messaging, responsible for creation or adaptation, translation, proofing and distribution of activation communications relating to:
- Retail campaign guideline localisation, translation and communication.
- Activity retail briefing and communication.
- Project stakeholder communication.
- Liaise with the Social / eCommerce team for external communication and amplification.
- Presentation: Managing adherence to brand standards and consistency.
- Completing and maintaining event and activation guidelines and procedures (e.g. event request process, local networking guidelines).
- Ensuring that activity is in line with brand standards and market position.
- Activation: Support the retail sales team strategy by creating and executing appropriate plans and tactics to deliver impact and sales for the brand to continue industry leadership.
- Campaign amplification through showroom activation and tools.
- Identify opportunities and deliver showroom activity and local partnerships including physical events, conferences, local institutions, local publications, email, social and web; adapting to consumer profiles.
- Review event requests in line with expected sales uplift.
- Supply event materials as agreed.
- Activate and communicate new showroom openings, relocations and refurbishments.
- Scoping, briefing and fulfilment of point‑of‑sale collateral to activate initiatives – working with studio, brand and creative teams.
- Organising content capture.
- Team engagement and support:
- Work with the Retail Coordinator to deliver activation.
- Contribute to channel and market monthly/quarterly meetings.
- Inform and support retail activation planning and strategy by market.
- Ensure programmes are developed and delivered to budgets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through evaluating results.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity in the décor industry.
Qualifications
- Previous marketing experience ideally having worked in a similar role within a retail company.
- Able to deliver business benefits / business results.

- Capable of handling stakeholders of all levels.
- Able to adapt to work in an ever‑changing multicultural environment.
