We are currently looking for a pro-active individual to join our People & Culture team in Wimborne as a People Operations Administrator. We are offering this position on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) or a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). This position will be offered on a permanent basis working on a hybrid basis, 2 days per week in our Wimborne office.
As a People Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of people and HR administration and transactional activity, helping ensure people operations/shared services are effectively delivered in collaboration with the wider People & Culture team. We are looking for a friendly, approachable and highly organised individual, with previous administration experience. The ideal candidate will also be fully proficient using Microsoft programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel) and be an excellent communicator. Previous experience using Workday would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of all colleagues, including processing and creation of all new employee documentation.
- Accurately maintaining all colleague records and ensuring compliance.
- Assisting with Payroll queries, updating payroll with any employee changes and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Responsible for all benefit and wellbeing administration.
- Responding to all employee inquiries and resolving any HR related issues.
- Supporting, organising and co-ordinating events and training including team events, health and wellbeing surveys, employee engagement initiatives.
- Management of mailbox - triage of queries and forwarding to relevant colleagues where necessary.
Key Attributes:
- Previous experience within a similar administration position with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency using IT systems including full suite of Microsoft programmes.
- Experience using HRIS systems; specifically Workday advantageous.
- Strong problem solving ability.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Adaptable to working within a fast paced, changing environment.
- Familiarity of HR processes and systems.
