We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Commercial team as a National Accounts Executive. We are offering this position on a full time, permanent basis. This is a remote opportunity based in the South of England.

The National Account Executive (NAE) is responsible for supporting the Farrow & Ball UK Third Party sales team with driving revenue growth and market penetration through high impact customer facing sales efforts across the UK. They will use both relationships, analytical skills, and market intelligence to drive activations and sales growth and to shape F&B category performance across our key Retailers and Independent Stockists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective and productive relationships at a store and regional level across B&Q, Brewers, Crown Decorator Centres and UK Stockists.
  • Lead Crown Decorator Centre sales analysis and recommendations each month.
  • Lead UK Mults & Stockist mapping maintenance, analysis and recommendations.
  • Create standardized QBR presentations across all National and key accounts and assist with follow-up actions from meetings to buying teams and key stakeholders.
  • Support B&Q and Brewers NAMs with post launch/promo evaluations and identifying key learnings/recommendations for improvements.
  • Support with CRM analysis, observations and recommendations.
  • Support the NAMs and FSM in the development of joint annual business plans.
  • Be the first point of contact for the day-to-day operational queries, taking a solution focused approach to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Have a sound knowledge of all customers’ goals, objectives, ways of working to optimise the relationship and the performance of the accounts.
  • Supporting the roll out, monitoring and performance of ICT (where applicable).
  • Collation of competitor activity, along with the promotional calendar records.
  • Evaluation of promotional activity in conjunction with Trade Marketing to ensure achievement of financial objectives.
  • Preparing and conducting regional review meetings.
  • Visiting stores to build and maintain strong relationships, maintaining high presentation standards in store, identifying training opportunities and capturing customer feedback.
  • Support in the preparation of weekly/monthly and Ad hoc reports across all three accounts.
  • Maintain accurate Store Audit data to drive the KPIs on in-store presence and range performance.
  • Working collaboratively across F&B internal functions ensuring excellent communication and smooth operation.

  • Experience of working with large national UK retailers as well as knowledge of independent national accounts is highly desirable.
  • Understanding & experience of customer P&L is preferable.
  • Industry knowledge is highly desirable.
