Farrow and Ball – Maintenance Engineer, Wimborne (40 hours per week)
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team based at our manufacturing site in Wimborne, Dorset. The role is permanent and full time. Most hours will be between 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday, with occasional work outside these hours as required.

Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out scheduled repairs and planned maintenance
- Execute improvement works aligned with business needs and production schedules
- Prioritise tasks effectively, balancing reactive and proactive maintenance
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, flagging shortages as needed
- Use Agility CMMS to log accurate asset history and maintenance records
- Collaborate with the wider team to meet and exceed KPI targets
- Ensure all production machinery is kept in optimal working condition
- Identify faults and suggest improvements to enhance equipment reliability
- Deliver a consistently high level of service to internal stakeholders
- Review and refine preventative maintenance schedules based on hands-on experience
- Uphold all health and safety standards and company procedures
Key Attributes & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Time-served Electrician with a proven track record in fault diagnosis and repair
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills and solid mechanical aptitude
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities
- Clear communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
