Farrow and Ball – Ecommerce Systems Analyst, Wimborne (37.5 hours per week)
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Ecommerce team as an Ecommerce Systems Analyst. We are offering this position on a full-time basis, working hybrid between our head office in Wimborne and home. This role will be required in office at least 2 days per week.
Farrow & Ball are a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients.
The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.

As a broad and varied role the Ecommerce Systems Analyst will work as one of a pair and be responsible for delivering developments, initiatives & projects for Farrow & Ball’s Ecommerce team. The role is key to managing and improving our ecommerce systems.
The ideal candidate will be someone interested in technical solutions and commercial challenges.
What we expect from you as an Ecommerce Systems Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with our Digital Programme Manager and with our third party technical partner and IT department, develop and maintain Farrow and Balls B2C and B2B websites for front-end and back-end change.
- Provide technical input into new projects and tickets to ensure they are well briefed, working with internal stakeholders such as IT and PMO to ensure efficiency and accuracy in system integration.
- Able to identify and work through any system constraints, as well as looking for ongoing ways to improve our workflows and automation.
- Become ‘subject matter expert’ able to contribute to future development such as architecture decisions and technology roadmaps. At times this may also include introducing formal training for new systems.
- Lead for website testing of new developments to ensure they work before roll-out. Follow best practice for testing and deployment with a view to improving the current systems.
- Document design changes, decisions and processes for continuity and clarity.
- Help identify opportunities to improve functionality and customer experience digitally
- Lead on category, product and pricing management.
- Joint lead for technical issues, responding to any concerns raised and seeking a solution in a timely manner.
- Joint oversight of the risk register coordinating necessary actions for constant improvement.
Key Attributes:
- Previous digital / ecommerce experience, with experience of website/digital development.
- Ideally experience of Adobe Commerce/Magento Cloud websites and/or IFS, certification would be a bonus.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and experience of working with Jira.
- Experience of managing several projects simultaneously and under tight timeframes.
- Open-minded, collaborative and flexible in approach. Personable and approachable.
- Delivery / results focus, with strong attention to detail. Thrives on owning job responsibilities.
