We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Wimborne, Dorset. We are offering this position on a full time, hybrid basis working between home and the office (minimum 2 days per week). This position is for a fixed term contract of 12 months.

As the Assistant Management Accountant you will be supporting the finance team with month end processes, running reports and various administration tasks. This role will be reporting to the finance manager.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Management Accounts team with month-end processes including accruals and prepayments within the ERP system (IFS). This includes multi-currency transactions across 6 entities.
- Assist with the monthly review of all designated overhead costs, including the investigation of variances against forecasts.
- Support the Management accountant with forecast reviews every quarter.
- Upload reports required for internal controls within the finance team and assist with external auditors.
- Support the Management Accounts team with capital expenditure administration.
- Complete various National Statistics Reports and maintain the file.
- Support the Management Accountant with the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
- Ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager.
- Final stages of AAT studying (Passed Level 3) or relevant Finance degree.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- High level of accuracy.
- High attention to detail.
- Used to using own initiative when attempting to resolve issues.
- Good Excel skills, including data analysis.
- Experience of preparing month-end accounts with an integrated accounts package such as IFS or SAP would be advantageous.
- Experience in multi-currency, global organisation will be advantageous.
