Our client is an alternative and special education provider delivering programmes to young people in schools, colleges, community centres, pupil referral units and young offender units, in addition to Vocational Training and skills programmes at numerous sites throughout the country.
They are looking to recruit a Part Time Customer Service Vocational Tutor at their Peterlee site. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and teaching Customer Service and ICT
- Creating an inspirational learning environment with high expectations of learner achievement, success and progression
- Engaging with parents regarding the progress of learners, ensuring that they are engaged and supportive in all aspects of our delivery
- Holding a recognised teaching qualification (minimum PTLLS)
- Having the ability to embed functional Maths, English and ICT throughout the curriculum, from Entry Level to Level 2
- Having experience of teaching Customer Service up to level 3
This is a part time post, 22.5 hours per week over 4 days, term time only, dealing with 14-19 year olds, delivering a safe and secure education provision for students with complex needs and behaviours.
Due to the nature of the job, an Enhanced DBS will be required.
