Our client is a leading provider of Apprenticeships in Manchester City Centre and they are looking for a Coach for their Management Apprenticeship Programmes. The company is passionate about developing future talent and works with many high-profile companies throughout the Manchester region. They have very high standards, a vibrant culture and care deeply about skill development, making a difference and helping others to achieve their full potential. They have two management development programmes; level 3 which is aimed at first line managers and the level 5 for the more strategic senior managers. Project Management is at Level 4 and includes an APM qualification.
As part of the role you will work with a cohort of learners (up to 40) on a one to one basis from different organisations, helping them to develop their management knowledge, skills and behaviours.
The ideal candidates will already have experience in assessment/teaching and relevant qualifications, however, they are happy to train and fully qualify applicants who are looking for a new opportunity and a change in career. This post is full time and is based in central Manchester, although the successful candidate will be required to travel within the North West and occasionally further afield to customer premises and there will be some work from their home base.
Essential Role Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years in a management role
- Substantial experience of major and complex project management
- Ability to communicate and relate to people at all levels
- Methodical and organised approach to work
- IT literate
- Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
- Driving license and access to a car
Desirable for the role:
- A management qualification relevant at Level 4 or above
- APM or similar project management qualification
- Assessor qualifications
- Teaching qualifications
- Experience of working with apprenticeships, particularly the new apprenticeship standards
- Experience of teaching/training in a group/one to one situation.
Benefits include annual company performance bonus, flexible working hours, laptop, mobile phone, child-care vouchers, travel expenses, 23 days holiday rising 1 day per year up to 28 days and a contributory pension scheme.
