Farrington Recruitment are working with an expanding independent training provider who are looking to recruit a Head of Learner Recruitment. Our client has a number of contracts for the delivery of government funded training including their own direct contract for the delivery of apprenticeships. This vacancy has arisen as a result of a successful DWP tender and they are now looking for an experienced learner recruitment professional to come on board.

This role will entail dealing with learners, employers and DWP staff in order to promote and develop a successful program.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a proven background in working with DWP staff and customers
  • engage with local employers to promote the program
  • maintain all necessary records and reports for the team
  • be responsible for learner engagement and referrals including liaising with JCP and other external agencies
  • take the lead on learner starts and interview/job outcomes
  • work closely with various stakeholders to develop new models for delivery including sector specific programmes that meet local labour market demands
