Due to expansion, one of our clients is looking to expand their delivery team and are particularly keen to speak to individuals with Water, Gas, Power and Telecommunications sector experience. They are looking for employed trainers/associates to join their team with the following skills & attributes:
- A passion for the development of people
- A passion for the Water/Waste Water/Gas/Telecoms/Power Sector
- Technical knowledge within utilities sectors
- Experience of training, teaching or assessment (preferred, but not essential)
This position plays an integral role in the smooth running of customer service and operations within the company. The role of Trainer / Assessor requires strong leadership and management skills to enhance the learning experience of candidates through consistent training and assessment.
A critical role in supporting and training individuals to reach their full potential, from apprentices to managers within the sector. Delivering training programmes & playing an active role in maintaining training materials to ensure they are up to date and relevant. The role supports various functions across the business to achieve and exceed performance targets.
Requirements
- Meet all requirements as set out within company Code of Practice
- Expected to organise, plan and deliver Qualification programmes, procedural and technical skills training and assessments
- Complete and document regular reviews of all training course materials (minimum annually) to ensure they meet all requirements, standards and legislation
- Process and return completed course paperwork to a consistent and high standard meeting all Company procedures and performance targets
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with client, company and awarding body standards and specifications
- Ability to work to, and comply with Quality Management Systems including Document and Change Control Procedures
- Attend training & development as and when required by the business
- Maintain CPD record (Minimum 6 Monthly Updates)
- Attend internal / external meetings as and when required by the business
- Prepare accurate and submit reports as requested by Management on time and to required standard
- Contribute to promotional literature such as newsletters, social media updates
- Assist with achieving company performance targets inclusive of securing new business
- Achieve and exceed individual performance targets
- Responsible for H&S within the External Assessment Centre, Storage Containers and Training Rooms
- Carry out H&S reviews and compile reports and ensure corrective actions implemented with set timescales (Minimum 12 / Annum)
- Ensure health & safety is the primary consideration in all aspects of delivery, candidates, staff, processes and equipment
- The list above does not limit your duties and the company may require you from time to time to undertake additional work within your capability and capacity
Due to the nature of this role a full UK driving license is essential and extensive travel may be required. Regular travel, overnight stays and weekend working should be expected in this role.
Benefits
Between £24,500 and £35,300 depending upon knowledge, skills and experience for full time. Rates for freelance are as follows:
- £220 day rate
- £270 weekend rate
