Due to expansion, one of our clients is looking to recruit an Apprenticeships Business Development Adviser. They are looking for a Business Development Advisor to engage with local employers and talk to them about apprenticeships, commercial training and any other training requirements. You will also work with schools and other providers to find the right people for their apprenticeship roles.

Location: Cannock

You will:

  • Achieve financial targets supported by your management team.
  • Ensure customer engagement is at the heart of everything you do - this will be with companies, learners and your internal teams.
  • Be proactive and responsive using a number of business development and customer engagement tools including cold calling, networking, social media, school events and working with our training delivery team.
  • Ensure your customer service is always to the highest standards.
  • Work as part of a proactive and passionate team and support and contribute.

What are we looking for?

  • A good level of education.
  • Good IT skills with MS packages and CRM systems.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a sales environment and customer engagement.
  • Car user and owner.
  • We need someone with passion, drive, and the skills to build business.

About the client:

They are a training provider offering government programmes such as Traineeships and Apprenticeships, in a range of occupations, as well as delivering commercial courses at all levels. They also work with unemployed clients and those wishing to develop their skills before embarking on their chosen career path. Customers include NHS Trusts, national retailers, micro businesses, Care Homes and Accountants. Working for them provides variety and an opportunity to use all of your skill set.
