Conveyancing in the UK is overdue for reinvention. Transactions take too long, lawyers spend too much time on admin, and clients often feel left in the dark. It’s fragmented, under pressure, and struggling to cope with growing complexity. Farringdon is a CLC regulated conveyancing law firm designed from the ground-up around AI to bring speed, clarity and consistency to the conveyancing process. Our clients are home buyers and sellers and we partner with estate agents and other intermediaries who introduce clients to us. We’re right at the start of our journey having launched in May 2026 with our first cohort of conveyancers, clients and introducers. The team and technology behind Farringdon is what makes it special. Farringdon is a spin‑out of one of the world’s leading legal AI companies focussed exclusively on automating real estate law. Our founding team built the technology that powers 1 in 10 residential property transactions in the UK today. Our expert conveyancers have decades of experience and have collectively completed thousands of transactions.

The Opportunity

We’re looking to hire a Residential Conveyancer who is excited about the way AI is shaping professional services to join our rapidly growing team. This is an early, high‑impact role. Your mission is to set the standard for outstanding conveyancing on a small caseload, whilst collaborating with specialists in legal technology to build systems that amplify your expertise, speed things up, keep clients informed and guard against risk.

What You Will Do

  • Conveyancing excellence: Run a small, high‑quality caseload end-to-end across freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including some new build and shared ownership transactions. Caseloads will gradually build as AI systems are implemented, allowing us to grow sustainably and help more clients without compromising on quality.
  • Time dedicated to technology: Work closely with product, engineering and operations to test, refine and adopt AI‑driven conveyancing workflows. You will help identify bottlenecks, sources of re‑work and recurring risk themes, and translate these into practical process improvements that shape the law firm of the future.
  • Access to cutting‑edge technology: Although you won’t have the traditional support of an assistant or paralegal, you will have access to cutting‑edge technology designed to make your life easier — and you’ll help build and refine it.
  • Responsibility: With support, technology and guidance where you need it, you are trusted to deliver excellent client care and legal work with limited supervision, and to exercise sound judgement on when to slow down, elevate or seek additional review to protect client outcomes and the firm’s reputation.

What We Are Looking For

  • AI‑first mindset: You’ve invested time to learn about AI and experimented with various AI tools at work and at home, and you’re excited to use AI and automation to create meaningful skills leverage — not just efficiency gains.
  • An experienced conveyancer with strong technical legal knowledge, client skills and compliance awareness. We typically target 5+ years PQE, but we prioritise capability over rigid thresholds.
  • Significant experience running transactions start to finish, ideally including complex leasehold (e.g. Building Safety Act impacted), shared ownership and new build.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving environment, iterating processes as we go.
  • Wants to build, not just bill: motivated by shaping a better model for conveyancing and improving how work gets done.
  • Experience designing products in regulated industries, or contexts where trust is hard to earn.
  • Experience building for B2C and B2B audiences simultaneously, or multi‑sided platforms.

What We Offer

  • This role is ideal for someone who wants to work with intensity at the frontier of AI to solve a problem everyone involved in the home buying and selling industry can relate to. You’ll enjoy meaningful ownership and a broad remit, and work alongside a high calibre team that have experience in the industry and AI, and care deeply about the problems Farringdon is solving.
  • Competitive Salary and 5% employer pension
  • Share options
  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • Financial support for CPD requirements or to become qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor.
  • Vibrant central London offices with panoramic views and a great atmosphere
  • Regular team lunches and socials, plus free snacks, drinks and barista coffee
  • 30% off gym membership
