I am recruiting an experienced Interim Sales Ledger Manager to take full ownership of the end-to-end sales ledger function during a period of change. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail and the confidence to operate at pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for the sales ledger, ensuring accurate, timely billing
- Line management, coaching and development of the sales ledger team
- Posting monthly revenue accruals and completing complex reconciliations
- Reconciling invoices between sales systems and finance systems
- Managing internal cross-charging and inter-departmental billing
- Supporting the implementation of a new sales system
- Completing invoice finance reconciliations and postings
- Preparing clear, regular reporting for senior management
- Ownership of invoicing for high-value and complex customers
- Liaising with external customers in relation to self-billing
Candidate Profile
Essential
- Strong experience managing a sales ledger function
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Desirable
- High-volume transaction environment experience
- Strong Excel and MS Office capability
