I am currently recruiting for an ongoing temporary Accountant to support a long-established, mid-sized manufacturing business based in the Thanet area. This is a hands-on role within a modern SME finance function and would suit someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and getting fully involved in the day-to-day workings of the business.
The Role
- Supporting statutory year-end accounts and audit processes
- Liaising directly with external auditors
- Month-end support and balance sheet control
- Assisting across the wider SME finance function as required
- Contributing to systems and process improvements
- Supporting or contributing to an ERP implementation (desirable)
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working within an SME environment
- AAT qualified (minimum)
- Proven experience with statutory year-end and audit support
- Comfortable working across multiple areas of finance, not just a single remit
- ERP system experience highly advantageous
- Available to start immediately or at very short notice
- Based locally to the Thanet area
